RAYUS Radiology, previously known as Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is seeking a Radiology Technologist Support Specialist to enhance our operational efficiency.
As a Radiology Technologist Support Specialist, your role will be to assist technologists in managing schedules and ensuring the scanning area operates smoothly and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
(70%) Technologist Support
- Monitor MRI, CT, arthrogram, and x-ray schedules.
- Adjust patient schedules as needed and keep all technologists informed of any modifications.
- Welcome and guide patients to changing rooms, providing a brief overview of the procedures.
- Prepare patient documentation and organize films in the correct jackets according to date and number.
- Assist technologists in setting up rooms between patients, including arranging the appropriate coils and changing table linens.
- Help maintain the technologist's schedule by preparing the next patient before the current one is finished.
- Restore and network previous exams for returning patients the following day.
(20%) Cleaning & Organization
- Stock and maintain cleanliness in work and control areas, including MRI rooms.
- Ensure all MRI patient areas are organized and well-stocked.
- Clean and restock patient preparation areas and restrooms.
- Manage linen supplies and laundry at the end of shifts.
- Organize and tidy supply closets and computer rooms.
- Arrange the radiologist reading area after use.
- Collaborate with MRI technologists, Medical Records, and Front Office for additional tasks as required.
(10%) Additional Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
