Position Overview:

The Arizona Official Website of State of Arizona is in search of a qualified polygraph examiner. The selected individual will be responsible for conducting polygraph assessments related to employment evaluations and criminal investigations. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

This role is classified as UNCOVERED, meaning the incumbent operates under the discretion of the Director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Responsibilities: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have successfully completed a polygraph training program accredited by the American Polygraph Association and possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in criminal investigations or polygraph operations.

Applicants are required to undergo a comprehensive examination process, including a polygraph test and a thorough background check. DPS maintains a drug-free workplace, necessitating pre-employment drug screening.
If the position involves driving or utilizing a vehicle as a fundamental aspect of the job for State business, the following requirements will apply: Driver's License Requirements. All newly appointed State employees must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
