We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital. This role requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in emergency care.
Certification Requirements- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS are mandatory.
- New York State License must be valid and available at the time of application.
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO), excluding holidays.
- Experience in General Emergency Department (Adult/Pediatric) is essential.
- Required skills include: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration, CVA, ICP monitoring, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic brain injury, Ortho-Trauma, Pediatric head injury, Pediatric near drowning, CPAP/BiPAP, ABG interpretation, Ventilated patients, Shock/Trauma, and Triage. Familiarity with FEMA protocols is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in an Emergency Department is necessary.
- Experience with Epic charting is required.
- No block scheduling is permitted.
- Annual requirement of 8 hours of stroke education.
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
- All candidates must have a valid New York State License at the time of submission.
- First-time travelers and local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are not eligible.
- Epic charting experience is essential.
- Annual stroke education is mandatory.
