Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and support. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their medical and health needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess individual's medical and health needs, providing timely interventions and support.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Advocate for individuals' health care needs, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected.
  • Provide education and training to residential staff on health-related topics, promoting a culture of wellness and prevention.
  • Conduct regular home visits to provide nursing oversight and support, ensuring individuals receive timely and effective care.
  • Document all interactions, interventions, and outcomes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
