Cedar Wellness Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as a Nursing Supervisor. This role will oversee the direct care activities of nursing staff and allied health professionals, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise nursing staff and allied health professionals to provide patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement clinical education programs for nursing staff and allied health professionals.
- Collaborate with the Clinic Director, Director of Nursing, and Medical Director to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Assess and evaluate clinical education and team approaches to patient care, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement standardized workflows and processes to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Provide nursing services to patients, including telephone triage, patient education, care coordination, and medication administration.
- Assist providers with procedures and respond to medical emergencies.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program, with a bachelor's degree in nursing highly desirable.
- Active RN license in good standing.
- 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- BLS certification, with ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to pass drug and background screening, and provide health and TB clearance.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification.
- 2 years of recent/previous work experience in a substance use disorder setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make knowledgeable clinical assessments and judgments.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work as a member of the care team.
- Expertise in process improvement, standardization, and workflow development.
- Strong data and computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple concurrent activities.
