Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for supervising the housekeeping staff, providing open communication, training, coaching, and counseling to ensure maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Inspect: Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back of the house to ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards, and regulations.
  • Issue Assignments: Issue assignments to staff, reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
  • Supply Management: Issue supplies/goods to staff at the beginning of the shift to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Lost and Found: Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Emergency Procedures: Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff, and company assets.
  • Attendance and Availability: Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Additional Duties: Clean guestrooms when necessary and perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
