About the Role:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our cleaning team at Afton House Inn as a Housekeeping Assistant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Clean and restock restrooms, including replenishing toilet paper, soap, and other essential supplies.
  • Notify management of any necessary repairs or maintenance issues.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Maintain the linen room, ensuring a sufficient supply of clean linens and towels.
  • Communicate effectively with the front desk team to ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for guests.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
