We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Panhandle Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients struggling with addiction.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial and annual history and physical evaluations to assess patient eligibility for treatment.
- Order and review laboratory studies, providing necessary education, referrals, and follow-up services to patients.
- Monitor treatment plans for high-risk patients and prescribe medication as needed.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to plan and implement care according to Nurse Practitioner guidelines.
- Report and document significant patient issues and adverse events.
- Communicate pertinent information to the healthcare team and ensure compliance with all laws and clinic policies.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner preferred.
- Previous experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is preferred.
