Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Liaison to join our team at COPILOT, a growing third-party hub services company. As a liaison between medical providers and health insurance companies, you will play a critical role in facilitating patient treatment and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in facilitating the completion of authorizations for medical treatments and procedures.
  • Connect with medical doctors' offices to discuss clinical information, authorizations, transfers, and follow-ups.
  • Investigate benefits requests submitted by medical doctors' offices and communicate with insurance companies to obtain information on patient benefits.
  • Coordinate with medical facilities, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective treatment.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound calls, answering inquiries and addressing case-related issues.
  • Communicate with field access managers and key account managers to ensure program needs are met.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in the medical or healthcare field, preferably with prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
  • Familiarity with medical billing, insurance verifications, and reimbursement issues is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, and ability to maintain strict HIPAA patient confidentiality.
