Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rig Inside Sales Specialist to join our sales team. This is a critical role that involves promoting and selling rig equipment and services to customers, establishing strong relationships, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling rig equipment and services. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and management to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution, and overall customer service and support.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Prospect for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
  • Provide product pricing and understand current market demands.
  • Ensure timely shipment or delivery of materials and customer satisfaction by collaborating with operations and logistics.
  • Contribute to add-on sales by maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Handle customer inquiries and problem resolution when needed.
  • Perform estimating, take-off, and proposal duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • Prior drilling rig experience and product knowledge required.
  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience in the same or similar industry preferred.
  • 2 or more years of customer service or sales experience in a related industry preferred.
  • Personal integrity, customer service, sales, and communications ability to provide top-notch service while increasing sales metrics.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple quotes simultaneously.
  • High School Diploma or College Degree preferred.
  • Intermediate level MS Office Suite and distribution-specific ERP systems skills.
  • Ability to pass background check, MVR check, and drug test where required.
Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
