Retail Sales Manager Trainee

The Sherwin-Williams Leadership Development Program for Store Managers is a comprehensive training program designed to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in a store management role. As a Retail Sales Manager Trainee, you will be part of an accelerated program that prepares you for success in just 18-24 months.

With our promote-from-within philosophy, you will have opportunities to progress into an Assistant Store Manager position upon successful completion of the initial 8-week training. During this time, you will collaborate with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing leadership and insight into the development and strategy of that store.

You will learn all operations, clients, and internal strategy, allowing you to understand the significant part you'll play in the team's success. Through the course of the program, you will grow the company's market share by selling to large, commercial users such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers, and other commercial users who need large volumes of our high-quality products.

We estimate that the salary for this role will be around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The actual compensation may fall within this range, considering factors such as skill sets, experience, and licensure.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service position.
