Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and service on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and machine parts to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Apply lubricants and oils to moving parts to ensure effective performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Record and report any damaged, worn, or broken parts to facilitate timely replacement and minimize downtime.
- Order and install replacement parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
- Repair broken equipment quickly and efficiently to minimize disruption to operations.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting work performed to facilitate tracking and analysis.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workshop area, including tools and supplies.
- Collaborate with management to schedule regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement test runs to ensure equipment is functioning correctly, and confer with management to address any issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the maintenance team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in general mechanic abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Ability to visually inspect equipment to identify potential issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical systems and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
