We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our multidisciplinary care teams.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to laboring women and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and other critical parameters to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize advanced technologies to support patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current state nursing license.
- ACLS, NRP (or obtained within three months of employment).
- BLS.
- One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
