Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic Labor and Delivery setting.

Job Summary

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. This includes coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals, administering medication, and managing potential complications that may arise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medication administration
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assist with caesarian sections and other surgical procedures as needed
  • Provide education and guidance to new mothers on recovery and infant care
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Active RN license
