Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance roles
  • Proficient in Adobe AEP
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for the automation, construction, management, testing, and deployment of CI/CD Pipelines
  • Proven ability to design and develop test automation scripts with strong programming skills
  • At least 7 years of experience in test automation using Azure DevOps
  • Experience in Web API testing
  • Skilled in writing test cases and user stories
  • Familiarity with validation processes, including end-to-end and integration testing
  • Experience with Selenium for automation testing
  • Background in both manual and automated testing
  • Cloud experience, preferably with Azure, but open to AWS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • General understanding of application and system architecture concepts, including service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of leading and advising on test automation strategies

Position Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on enhancing marketing tools and loyalty systems. This role involves collaborating with the Campaigns & Offers team within MarTec to develop and sustain test automation processes that support application and system requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will lead efforts in test automation strategy, design, implementation, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
  • Enhance and refine automation framework design features, implementing automated test suites and cases.
  • Propose quality improvements to automation requirements and assist in the development of enhancements.
  • Engage in tool analysis, create proof of concept models, and provide recommendations for tool selection.
  • Establish criteria for evaluating which features and functions should be automated.
  • Oversee quality assurance analysts, engineers, developers, and testers in test automation and performance testing activities, ensuring accurate monitoring and communication of test results.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and debug automated test scripts.
  • Create and manage test data necessary for execution or database population.
  • Adhere to coding and design standards while suggesting improvements.
  • Participate in the ongoing maintenance and refactoring of the codebase.
