Charlie's Produce is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, from production to delivery.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Verify packaging, labeling, and lot coding to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform daily ATP swabs to verify sanitation and cleanliness.
- Audit Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and conduct training sessions for production staff.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- 1+ year of experience in a food processing facility, preferably in a quality assurance or quality control role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production staff and management.
- HACCP training and certification.
- A competitive salary range of $22-25 per hour, dependent on experience.
- Potential 90-day performance-based raise.
- Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
