Modem and RF System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Modem and RF System Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our system engineering team, you will be responsible for working on modem systems features and requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with RF and modem teams to develop and implement AGC algorithms and RF models for link-level simulations.
- Analyze and characterize simulation results to provide mitigation and optimization guidelines.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cellular communication standards, including 5G NR, 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G GSM.
- 10+ years of experience in RF and modem systems engineering.
- Deep knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing.
- Experience with automatic gain control (AGC) for LTE/NR.
- Fluent in Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python for algorithm development and modeling.
- Strong analytical skills, including linear algebra, random processes, detection, and estimation.
- BS with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with analog and digital beam forming techniques and MIMO systems.
- Hands-on experience in lab testing and characterization.
