We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Middle/High School Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Uncommon Schools. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the academic journey of our students and helping them develop a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics.
About the Role:
- Teach middle school and high school mathematics principles, including ratio/proportions, expressions/equations, and the number system.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Use our in-house CCSS-based Math curriculum and culturally responsive problem-solving activities to foster student engagement and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop academic goals and practice instructional strategies.
- Partner with students' families to ensure appropriate resources are available to support their child's learning needs.
