Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state and federal requirements.
  • Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals, including accurately completing all necessary paperwork and managing day-to-day inventory levels.
  • Manage forklift certification and perform periodic inventories to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
  • Timely execution of daily receiving and shipping load board, overseeing the receipt of purchased goods, verifying counts, quality, and complete all required paperwork and transactions associated with this process.
  • Stacks and arranges product on pallets, completes forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift, and replenishes stock while maintaining a cleaned and organized warehouse/location daily.
  • Moves product in warehouse/location as necessary during reallocations of space or taking of inventory, rotates product and arranges according to Julian dates or FIFO (first in first out).
  • Receives and checks against receiving documents incoming product, ensuring proper product code, quantity, and condition; reports any discrepancies to the lead.
  • Operates electric forklifts and palletjacks, works in and out of freezers, temperatures average 32 degrees to -10 degrees.
  • General support of production, including wearing hairnet, freezer suit, captive boots, earplugs, and gloves provided by the Company.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience.
  • 1+ year of forklift experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to work in production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certification.
