Job Title: Material Handler I

Join LGC Clinical Diagnostics as a Material Handler I and play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of our products.

Job Summary

The Material Handler I provides critical support to our operations team by handling the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in accordance with cGMP and established guidelines. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload deliveries throughout a shift, ensuring accurate inventory management and storage at correct temperatures and locations.
  • Pick and pack customer orders for outbound shipment, meeting tight deadlines and ensuring high-quality service.
  • Perform goods receipt and material movement transactions within our ERP system (SAP), maintaining accurate records and resolving any inventory discrepancies.
  • Support internal and external customer requirements, providing timely and effective solutions to meet their needs.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution setting, preferably in the biotech industry or handling low-temperature materials.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is strongly preferred.
Work Environment

The Material Handler I will work in a manufacturing setting with some exposure to noise from equipment. Some handling of biological or chemical hazardous materials may be performed.
