We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner for our operations. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and is crucial for the seamless functioning of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage work orders within the maintenance management system, ensuring timely distribution to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Oversee the issuance of preventative maintenance work orders to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Administer the inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency within the Tool Crib.
  • Implement and oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance strategy.
  • Label and catalog parts and shelves, ensuring accurate entries in the maintenance software.
  • Keep a thorough inventory of spare parts and auxiliary equipment, monitoring stock levels diligently.
  • Perform data entry for purchase orders, work orders, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate the hiring and management of contractors, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
  • Ensure that maintenance supplies and parts are accessible to facilitate prompt repairs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in utilizing maintenance management software (CMMS) for operational tasks.
  • Demonstrated success in a continuous improvement environment, with familiarity in ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and SAP.
