About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Description

The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative oversight of patient care, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
  • Contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia Health.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree obtained within 3 years from hire date, minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience, and a nursing license in the appropriate state of employment. Additionally, you must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to obtain within 1 month.

Location and Benefits

This role is based at St Marys Medical Center and offers a competitive salary of $36.63 - $54.94 / hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development. The shift rotation includes day/eve/night shifts with varied start/end times, and the work schedule is 60 hours per pay period.
