Job Summary

The Body Shop Detailer/Helper is a key member of our team at Jeff D'Ambrosio Fiat, responsible for delivering exceptional results in vehicle refinishing and repair. As a skilled professional, you will work closely with our team to ensure that every vehicle that leaves our shop meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Refinish damaged body parts and vehicles to factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards.
  • Operate and maintain all body shop equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Remove rust and contaminants from metal surfaces, and prepare surfaces for new paint application.
  • Mix and apply paint to match manufacturer's color specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless vehicle repair and preparation.
Requirements
  • 1+ year experience as a painter in a dealership or collision/body shop environment.
  • Proven waterborne paint experience.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and dependability.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
