Radiologic Imaging Specialist

At FlexStaff Careers, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and be able to operate x-ray and auxiliary equipment with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares patients for exams by explaining the procedure in a clear and concise manner.
Operates x-ray equipment and controls to obtain correct exposure and high-quality images.
Positions patients for taking radiographs according to departmental standard operating procedures.
Recognizes and reports any patient abnormalities or reactions to the Radiologist.
Maintains accurate records and labels film for identification.
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.
BLS through the American Heart Association.
