CVS Health Staff Pharmacist FT

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose and modeling our values. You will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, as well as overseeing the operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Maintain a high level of professional practice and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of care provided in the pharmacy.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients and customers.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses.
- Workflow Management: Optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency.
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
