Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language therapy to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills to identify communication disorders and develop recommendations for treatment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to minimize the adverse impact of communication disorders on student success.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in a school setting.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
