Description

This part-time position operates from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, requiring two rotating days a week with on-call duties.

We are in search of an experienced Endoscopy Nurse with proficiency in advanced gastrointestinal procedures, including Bronchoscopy with ultrasound, Endoscopic ultrasounds, EGD, and ERCP procedures. Our Registered Nurses play a crucial role within inter-professional teams in healthcare facilities dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. A capable clinician with extensive experience in patient care, possessing a solid understanding of the needs of specific patient populations.

Regularly utilizes acquired knowledge, theory, research, and experience to adapt to changes in clinical situations.

Under general supervision, demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways, team dynamics, and healthcare systems.

Incorporates the AACN Synergy Model into clinical practice.

Delegates responsibilities appropriately, utilizing the Synergy model of care and recognizing the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patients, and family care partners as essential resources in planning patient care.

Functions in a developing leadership capacity, serving as Charge Nurse when assigned.

Provides orientation to staff or students as needed in the absence of a designated preceptor.

Anticipates potential patient crises through ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes.

Identifies and implements appropriate actions in non-routine situations, seeking assistance to resolve complex issues.

Coordinates diagnostic procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of 24 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.

Must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the relevant Licensing Board.

BLS certification (AHA) is required, and ACLS may be necessary in designated departments.
