We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will work closely with pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working night shifts at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Support pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care to patients
  • Assist with medication preparation and dispensing
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an approved pharmacy technician training course
  • Registration with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 9 months of hire
