Estimator Job Description

Job Summary:
PRESS GLASS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating specifications to prepare quotes for commercial glass projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Reviews project documents and architectural drawings to estimate material requirements
Confers with sales, scheduling, and engineers teams to resolve issues and determine project requirements
Calculates material costs based on project specifications and raw material yield
Prepares accurate cost estimates using FeneVision and MS Excel
Secures material prices from vendors and purchasing teams

Requirements:
Strong mathematical skills to calculate prices for glass projects
Proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to quickly learn new systems
Attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in estimating, project managing, customer service, or supply chain is a plus
Strong customer service skills and organizational skills
