Position Summary:

The Retail Sales Representative will operate under the guidance of store management to ensure smooth store functions. This role is pivotal in providing exemplary customer service while upholding a tidy, organized, and secure shopping environment. The Retail Sales Representative is expected to enhance both employee and customer experiences by embodying Goodwill's mission and values consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver a premier customer experience.
  2. Process books for inventory management.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the store.
  4. Handle transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  5. Organize and display inventory according to the sales floor plan.
  6. Assist customers in fitting rooms.

Additionally, you will:

  1. Communicate effectively with management and team members to understand daily tasks and expectations.
  2. Provide high-quality customer service by assisting customers in locating products and answering inquiries.
  3. Adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations as well as agency policies.
  4. Perform other sales floor duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exhibit a positive and friendly demeanor to foster a supportive work atmosphere.
  • Possess basic mathematical and literacy skills to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Pass a criminal background check that meets agency standards.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail or relevant certification.
  • High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent.
