Associate Director, Process Analytics Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Process Analytics to join our team at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies Holly Springs (FDBN). As the system owner and responsible for setting the direction and execution of Manufacturing Intelligence/Process Analytics solutions, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our end-to-end manufacturing value chain.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain informatics systems for process analytics purposes, leading projects to create new process analytics systems and expanding capabilities and functionalities.
- Collaborate with Process Science to ensure systems support business processes in place for the site, creating multivariate models and providing training in the use of process analytics systems.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, directing allocation of resources and driving innovation and systems improvement initiatives in the Process Analytics space.
- Partner with users (internal and clients) to define functional specifications and process requirements from a process data perspective, specifically process data transmittance (sensor, control, and operation data).
- Develop and maintain internal data-focused webapps to support different stakeholders, seeking to continuously optimize the data management of manufacturing processes while focusing on digital solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Scientific, or Mathematics field with 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 12 years of relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of previous management or supervisory experience, with prior experience with data mining, management, and visualization, statistical process control, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with different machine learning algorithms and command of data science ecosystem, with a strong attention to detail, highly organized, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment, with experience using IT systems to support data acquisition, management, and evaluation.
- Prior experience collaborating and interacting with a global team, with experience with multivariate data analysis.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment, with a strong focus on digital solutions and data-driven process improvement. The successful candidate will be able to adapt communication style to differing audiences and advise others on difficult matters, with effective communication, both written and oral.
