Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and support to our patients and customers.

We offer a comprehensive training program for our pharmacy technicians, which includes on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and ongoing education and development opportunities.

Our pharmacy technicians are responsible for:

  • Assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions and processing patient information
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing skills and knowledge to provide excellent service
  • Participating in ongoing education and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Job Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills to accurately fill prescriptions
  • Prefer good computer skills
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control
  • Prefer PTCB certification
