Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and maintaining accurate records.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and support to our patients.

We offer a comprehensive training program to ensure our pharmacy technicians have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. Our program includes training on pharmacy systems, patient communication, and medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions and verifying medication
  • Maintain accurate records and files

  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Good math skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
