Job Title: MEP Operations Manager

Position Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing and directing MEP projects at Ancoats, with opportunities to establish and lead a specialized area of practice as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating construction estimates for MEP disciplines
  • Examine documents for compliance, cost, and feasibility issues
  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for MEP subcontractors
  • Lead the procurement and contracting of subcontractors
  • Engage in preconstruction discussions
  • Facilitate collaborative design initiatives
  • Oversee 3D/BIM coordination efforts
  • Support project teams with construction management
  • Lead MEP project closeout and commissioning processes
  • Mentor and guide team members
  • Contribute to business development initiatives
  • Foster positive relationships with subcontractors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in MEP
  • Proficient in REVIT/AutoCad/BIM360
  • Strong skills in project planning and management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service capabilities
