Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on Federal, state, and local tax issues to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Develop and maintain tax workpapers, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing clear and concise information on tax matters.
  • Respond to tax notices and correspondence from Federal, state, and local tax authorities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in tax preparation and consulting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification.
  • Proficient in the use of GoSystem Tax RS.
