Job Overview

Position Summary:
DT Professional Services is in search of an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer with expertise in Electronic Warfare (EW) and EW threat simulation technologies. This role is based in a dynamic laboratory environment focused on advanced military and scientific applications.

The ideal candidate will engage in a variety of projects related to Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories, Airborne Electronic Attack, and Multi-Spectral Defense. A solid background in both active and passive RF systems is essential. This position requires full-time on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct research, design, development, and testing of EW electronic systems and components.
  • Oversee integration and testing processes for electronic product development, including reprogramming of existing systems and creating/modifying test plans.
  • Assess testing outcomes, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes related to test equipment and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough testing of systems and products, potentially down to the component level.
  • Utilize hands-on problem-solving techniques to address technical challenges.
  • Prepare detailed and precise status reports documenting findings and progress.
  • Resolve operational issues with test equipment and provide project time and cost estimates.
  • Manage project production timelines to ensure completion within budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate manufacturing, installation, and testing activities to meet compliance standards.
  • Perform calculations to establish engineering standards and specifications.
  • Employ computer-assisted engineering software to execute engineering tasks effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active DoD issued Secret Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD issued Top Secret Clearance.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
  • Experience in Custom Hardware design and Printed Circuit Board development.
  • Familiarity with RF Test Bench simulation systems.
  • Knowledge of Mission Data Programming for military aircraft.
  • Experience with Sensor Engineering for various EW systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders and diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and Model-Based Systems Engineering.

The compensation range for this position is competitive.
