Job Summary

Nantucket Cottage Hospital is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties, including drug purchasing, distribution, sterile compounding, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sterile compounding (hazardous and non-hazardous) adhering to USP and Mass BORP regulations
  • Prepare and deliver controlled substances in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Conduct controlled substances audits and inventories in accordance with federal, state laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records regarding medications as required by law
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain pharmacy services to meet the needs of the hospital
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
  • Current, valid Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy License required
  • Prior licensed RPh experience of at least 2 years or 1-year residency preferred
  • Hospital experience strongly preferred
