Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Ascension. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for communicating with patients, participants, and staff to accurately schedule patients for prescribed procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients, participants, and staff to gather necessary demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
- Enter information into appropriate databases and seek resources to resolve issues related to procedure scheduling.
- Schedule patient procedures efficiently and coordinate with clinical resources.
- Provide counseling to patients and participants regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
