Key Responsibilities:

Support the development and integration of Satellite Ground Systems solutions
Work with the team lead to help decompose the work needed to implement new features or address defects within the operational software
Work with the development team using agile methodologies combined with mature software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure
Develop new software and adapt existing software by implementing new capabilities
Maintain cognizance of industry tools, best practices, and procedures
Interface with customers to understand use cases and define requirements, design Cloud capable solutions, support system level testing, and field the solution in customer environments to support the mission
Communicate with leadership on status, issues, milestones, and successes

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance

Preferred Skills:

Satellite ground systems development and integration
Comfortable using Linux and Linux tools (sed, grep, awk, top, etc.)
Knowledge of at least one of the following: Python, javascript/nodejs/typescript
Postgres or other SQL database experience
Cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS)
Experience with Agile development processes (Agile, Scrum, Continuous Delivery)
AWS Solutions Architect and/or AWS Sys Ops certification(s)
Application programming with C++
Excellent ability to analyze problems and to focus and drive down to the root cause of problems quickly
