Human Resources Generalist

Mayville Engineering Company, a leading player in the industry, seeks a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join its team. As a key member of the HR department, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and values of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support and coaching to department managers and supervisors with regards to employee relations matters.
- Identify and coordinate training and development opportunities for employees to create a highly skilled and flexible workforce.
- Recommend company policy and procedure changes based on workforce needs and implement changes in respective departments.
- Partner with departments to identify staffing needs based on capacity planning of the business.
- Execute full cycle recruitment of hourly production positions, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
- Assist managers and supervisors in making high-quality hiring decisions based on job qualifications and according to the company's mission and vision.
- Onboard new employees, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required paperwork and pre-employment testing.
- Assimilate new employees to the company and department team by conducting orientations.
- Build relationships with educational institutions to ensure a long-term strategic pipeline of talent.
- Ensure employees are receiving necessary feedback to maximize department performance through the administration of 60-day, 6-month, and annual reviews.
- Provide coaching to managers and supervisors on effective forms of feedback.
- Recommend salary changes based on market data, employee performance, and experience.
- Maintain HRIS with accurate data.
- Understand the current state of recruitment and retention through metrics and analytics.
- Provide insight and recommendations to operations based on trends.
- Coordinate employee rewards, recognition, and appreciation events and activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
