Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at KEAR Civil Corporation. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing the pre-construction and construction phases of our water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage design-build teams, including design professionals and consultants, through the design and construction phases.
  • Oversee the management of financial aspects of projects, including adherence to budget as work progresses.
  • Subcontract negotiations and procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Identify, estimate, quote, and negotiate changes to contract.
  • Invoice and time sheet approval.
  • Facilitate staff development by serving as a mentor and role model.
  • Provide training, support, guidance, and assistance in goal setting.
  • Act as a mentor regarding safety to promote safety among peers and subordinates.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Develop budgets and schedules.
  • Establish staffing levels.
  • May develop or oversee the development of proposals.
  • Establish the scope of work and resources required to successfully complete the project.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Initiate new project development opportunities.
  • Maintain continual open communications with clients.
  • Represent the company in project meetings.
  • Provide support to Executive Management upon request.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil or water & wastewater related infrastructure construction projects.
  • A four-year degree in a construction management or engineering field is preferred.
  • Experience with Job Order Contracting, CMAR & Design Build delivery methods is a plus.
  • Experience in water/wastewater operations/maintenance, including operational safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 Scheduling Programs.
  • Proficiency in Procore Construction Management Software is a plus.
