Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Kindred Healthcare. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services in our transitional care hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Provide professional guidance and support to nursing personnel, manage disciplinary issues, and prepare administrative reports.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Assess patient needs and participate in providing nursing care to ensure services are carried out and documented appropriately.
- Maintain patient health care records and supply inventory records.
- Promote adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement.
- Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Registered Nurse / RN license in the state.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Two years of Registered Nurse / RN nursing experience in a hospital.
- One to two years supervisory/leadership experience.
