Job Summary

Welcome to Sarasota Memorial Health, where we are committed to providing exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a skilled Clinical Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a Clinical Assistant, you will be responsible for triaging patients, completing point-of-care testing, and providing high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications
  • Florida licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic, or national licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (RN/LPN) and have completed the first semester of clinical for an ASN degree, completion of the third semester for a BSN degree, or completion of the first trimester for an LPN
  • Cannot be currently licensed in the U.S. as a RN or LPN
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification, or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
Mandatory Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Certificate

Work Schedule: Per diem shifts, Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays. PRN pay rate is set at $17.25/hr.
