Job Summary:

The Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist plays a vital role in providing speech and language services under the supervision of a Senior SLP. This mentored clinical experience is designed to equip the Clinical Fellow with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field of Speech Language Pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides components of a speech and language program as specified in the treatment plan developed by a supervising SLP

Assists the SLP with speech, language, and hearing screenings without clinical interpretation

Assists the SLP during assessment of students, exclusive of administration and/or interpretation

Provides timely and accurate documentation of student performance and reports this information to the supervising SLP

Requirements:

Must be a graduate of a SLP program with a bachelor's or Master's degree in a speech-language pathology

Must comply with accepted professional standards and practice

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
