About Panasonic Well

Panasonic Well is a pioneering venture and business incubator from the Panasonic Group, focused on developing innovative health and wellness solutions by integrating hardware, software, and services through industry-leading, responsible AI.

We are committed to building a technology ecosystem that improves well-being for every generation. Our US operations are conducted through Panasonic Well LLC, while in Japan, we operate as a division of Panasonic Holding Corporation.

The Role

As a Senior UX Prototyper, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product experience, design processes, and the future of the company. You will collaborate closely with product designers, researchers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create and refine consumer experiences through rapid prototyping.

You will establish UX processes, mentor others, and ensure our products are innovative, scalable, and highly impactful. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the company's mission to make well-being attainable for modern families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to demonstrate user interactions, animations, and transitions.
  • Work closely with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to iterate on ideas and ensure prototypes are technically feasible.
  • Help build 0 to 1 experiences, defining new workflows and pushing innovative solutions for user problems.
  • Conduct or assist in user testing sessions, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly to improve designs.
  • Use tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and others to create both low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Keep up with the latest trends in user experience design and prototyping tools, and share insights with the team.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure prototypes can be translated into high-quality, scalable code.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in UX prototyping, interaction design, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and a strong understanding of interaction design principles.
  • Strong grasp of front-end development basics (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to communicate effectively with engineering teams, though production-level coding is not a focus of this role.
  • Experience creating interactive prototypes for both web and mobile applications.
  • Proven track record of working on 0 to 1 projects or new product launches.
  • Proven ability to work with engineers, product designers, researchers, and product managers and exhibit competence in meaningfully contributing to technical and user experience discussions and tradeoffs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and prototype goals to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback, making data-driven design decisions.
