Job Summary

We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health in West Hartford, CT. As a therapist, you will work with children and adolescents to assess mental health diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and provide daily documentation. You will also engage in regular case consultations and clinical staff meetings, coordinate services with outside providers and internal Ellie providers, and complete all HIPAA training requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assess various mental health diagnoses in children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs
  • Provide daily documentation of client progress and treatment
  • Engage in regular case consultations and clinical staff meetings to ensure high-quality care
  • Coordinate services with outside providers and internal Ellie providers to ensure seamless care
  • Complete all HIPAA training requirements to maintain confidentiality and security of client information
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience working with children and adolescents in an outpatient setting
  • Full clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Experience with completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of typical office technology and Electronic Health Record systems
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
  • Credentialed with insurance panels
