Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual to support grain operations at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, maintaining facilities, and ensuring the quality of grain and other products.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain equipment involved in grain handling, storage, and drying.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment within the facility.
  • Obtain, prepare, test, and grade grain samples from inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Provide weighing of inbound and outbound grain shipments.
  • Ensure all work is performed within safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies and company policies.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of standard computer applications.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be able to move freely throughout the agribusiness facilities, including climbing vertical heights, carrying tools and equipment (0-50 lbs.), exposure to temperatures (0-100°F), humidity (0-100%), noise (50db to 100db), and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus. Required to travel to remote agribusiness facilities and customer locations.
