Role Impact

As a Project Engineer, you will engage your curiosity and work alongside some of the most innovative and diverse minds worldwide. In this role, you will contribute by:
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, construction activities, and team members to successfully deliver assigned projects
  • Developing and implementing competitive bidding strategies
  • Defining performance specifications and design criteria for equipment
  • Ensuring effective communication with project teams, staff, and stakeholders
  • Establishing accountability by understanding relevant codes and guidelines to ensure compliance with design standards
Required Qualifications

To ensure your success in this position from the outset, 3M requires the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in project management within a private, public, government, or military setting
  • A valid Driver's License
Additional qualifications that may enhance your success in this role include:
  • Expertise equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Previous experience with webline, extrusion, material handling, automation, or inspection equipment
Work Location: Knoxville, IA

Travel Requirements: May include up to 20% domestic travel

Relocation Assistance: May be available

Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
