Regional Director of Sales/ Bay Area

Juniper Networks seeks a seasoned sales leader to drive growth and expand customer relationships in the NorCal/Bay Area region. As Regional Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve quarterly objectives and business goals.
This role requires a strong ability to understand client needs, develop business cases, and work with internal resources to deliver results. You will manage and execute all enterprise go-to-market activities, including sales strategy, execution, and delivery, across all Juniper products within the NorCal Region.
Your key responsibilities will include managing a high-performance sales team, complex deal negotiations, quota attainment, sales presentations, solution selling, business case development, and sales leadership/management. You will also be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent.
To succeed in this role, you must have 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including leading a direct sales organization with management of matrix resources. You should have industry knowledge of Cisco, ARISTA, HP, Palo Alto Networks, and Juniper product portfolios. Prior success in leading a high-performing sales region that produces > $30M in annual revenue is essential.
You will be expected to develop and implement a successful go-to-market plan and multi-year business/sales plan. Exceptional customer-facing skills, communication skills, and quantitative analytical skills are required. Key industry and customer relationships are necessary, as well as a clear understanding of industry selling methodology; MEDDICC.
The estimated salary for this position is between $304,000.00 and $437,000.00/year, depending on individual factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave.
Beyond your technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills to motivate both internal and external sales teams. If you are an aggressive self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, articulate Juniper product and business strategies, and create demand and close deals, then this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
