We are seeking a highly qualified Physician Assistant Faculty member to join our team at Daemen University. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring our PA students, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our clinical curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and evaluate PA students in the classroom and clinical settings
  • Develop and implement curriculum for PA students

Requirements
  • Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in an applicable field of study
  • NCCPA certified physician assistant eligible for licensure as a physician assistant in the State of New York
  • Three years of full-time clinical practice experience demonstrating the ability to practice medicine skillfully and with great autonomy as a member of a healthcare team
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching and serving as a clinical preceptor for PA students
  • Proficiency with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data using standard statistical tools and predictive techniques
  • Mastery of computer applications, software programs, and social media platforms
  • A record of peer-reviewed publication in professional journals
  • A record of service to regional, state, or national PA professional organizations
